Lupe

In cooperation with the research group of Prof. Dr. Thomas Wilhein, Hochschule Koblenz, Campus Remagen, a flexible system for microscopic imaging deployable at multiple synchrotron facilities has been developed and successfully tested at the P04 beamline of Petra III and at the plane grating monochromator beamline in the PTB Laboratory at BESSY II. The AnImax endstation is currently in operation and further developed.

This novel instrument has (cryo-) full field and scanning X-ray microscopy options, with the latter offering spectromicroscopy (XRF) as well as XAS and tomography – all simultaneously for one sample with an uniquely large solid angle of detection of up to 1.1 sr. (see figure)
