X-ray Emission spectrometer for chemical speciation in von Hamos geometry. The dispersive element is a full cylinder HAPG crystal with high integrated reflectivity. The good efficiency of the optic allows the measurement of the Kß and Valence-to-Core (VtC) transitions of diluted samples in the laboratory.
research project: Chemical speciation with hard X-rays: XAS and XES
Resolving Power: E/ΔE = 1800 |
Energy range: 3600 - 16000 eV in first oder of reflection, 7200 - 32000 eV in second order |
Efficiency: Highly energy dependent and sample specific, for more details go to the research project page. Two Examples: • 10 µm / 1 µm solid Ti sample: 10000 / 1900 ph/s in the Kβ mainline • 10 µm / 1 µm solid Cu sample: 6000 / 5000 ph/s in the Kβ mainline (K-M2,K-M3) |
Sample states: Solid and liquid, minimal sample amount for powder samples 1 mg |
Exitation: 50 W tungsten microfocus x-ray tube combined with a 20 µm focusing polycapillary lens |
